After completing her Doctorate in Musical Arts degree, she has taught at several universities including UCLA, Biola University and Fullerton College, given master classes and guest lectures throughout the US, Mexico, and in Malaysia, and is an artist in residence at La Sierra University.
Passionate for entrepreneurial approach to classical music and innovative arts education, together with her international music colleagues during the pandemic she co-founded one of the largest online music festivals to date, Nextus Festival- a unique project organized by musicians from around the globe, and launched in 2021.
As a performer and an avid researcher of the forgotten musical gems, Ms. Khomik has been dedicating much of her concert activities throughout the years to promoting Ukrainian culture through music and artistic presentations, raising much needed awareness for her homeland’s turbulent history and rich cultural heritage. Over the last few months, after initiating the series of concerts in Los Angeles LArtists 4 Ukraine for local fundraising efforts with the artistic community, and co-founding the global musician’s initiative Help Musicians Ukraine, Ms. Khomik is currently on her summer recital tour in Europe and the UK presenting curated recitals in her series “Muse Ukraine: A Journey Through Time”- to help raise awareness of Ukrainian composers, culture, and to raise funds for humanitarian aid.
